U.S. Navy hospital corpsmen with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South provide emergency medical care to a simulated casualty during the practical application portion of a bi-lateral medical exchange at Marambaia Island, Brazil, Aug. 6, 2014. The exchange was held as part of a theater security cooperation event with the Logistics Combat Element of SPMAGTF-South. Through close cooperation, the U.S. and its partners are ready to address transnational security challenges through integrated and coordinated approaches.
