Teoshia Grider, a midshipman with the Naval Reserve Officers' Training Corps at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, learns to operate an M249 Squad Automatic Weapon during live fire training for Career Orientation and Training for Midshipmen, otherwise known as CORTRAMID, aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, August 7. Grider, a mathematics major and a native of Tampa, Florida, was one of more than 100 midshipmen from universities throughout the country who traveled to the area to experience a taste of life in the Marine Corps.
