Cpl. Eric Acosta, left, cuts detonation cord as Cpl. Carlos N. Diaz, back, pulls it tight during an urban demo range August 17, at Bradshaw Field Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia, as a part of Exercise Koolendong 14. The range focused on cross training Marines on what the capabilities of combat engineers are. Koolendong is a training evolution within the Marine Rotational Force-Darwin highlighting stability and security throughout the region. The rotational deployment of U.S. Marines affords an unprecedented combined training opportunity with our Australian allies, and improves interoperability between our forces. Diaz, an Anaheim California, native, is a supply and administration operations specialist with Combat Logistics Detachment 331, Combat Logistics Battalion 3. Acosta, a Tacoma, Washington, native, is a combat engineer with the detachment. (Marine Corps Photo by Lance Cpl. Joey S. Holeman, Jr./ Released)
