Highlights of the program in addition to the Powers talk included a unique presentation of the Cuban missile crisis from Naval History and Heritage Command historian, Curtis Utz. As the author of "Cordon of Steel: The U.S. Navy and the Cuban Missile Crisis", Utz gave an overview of the October 1962 crisis. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Kenneth G.
