Shun Nishine, back right, assists visually impaired student, Moeko Agena, front right, in examining a LifeLocator system Sept. 29 at the Camp Foster fire station. The device is used during natural disaster to help detect victims trapped under rubble by sensing movement. The visit focused on informing the students about natural disaster preparedness, along with educating them on the strong relationship between military and Okinawa fire departments. Nishine, a Nishihara-Cho, Okinawa, native, is a firefighter with the Camp Foster fire department. Agena is an Urasoe City, Okinawa, native, and a student at Okinawa International University, majoring in English language and American culture. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Brittany A.
