Sailors remove chocks and chains from a CH-53E Super Stallion, assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), as it prepares to depart the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42) for a personnel transfer during Amphibious Landing Exercise 2015 (PHIBLEX15). PHIBLEX15 is an annual bilateral training exercise conducted with the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Germantown is part of the Peleliu Expeditionary Strike Group, commanded by Rear Adm.
