Petty Officer 3rd Class Alberto Alejo, assigned to U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 8, helps Master Chief Petty Officer Arne Phillips, a master diver assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit 2, check his gear prior to diving into Africa's Lake Victoria. Alejo and Phillips are forward-deployed as part of the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa mission to search for and possibly recover wreckage from an Ilyushin 76 cargo plane that crashed into the lake on March 9.
