Marines and Sailors with Combat Logistics Battalion 24, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, hold a formation for an award presentation aboard the USS New York, Oct. 24, 2014. Master Sgt. Lauralee Futrell, the operations chief for CLB 24, received a Meritorious Service Medal for exceptional performance while serving as the logistics chief for Marine Special Operations Support Group from 2009 to 2014. CLB 24 is currently at sea aboard the New York as part of Composite Training Unit Exercise, the final major pre-deployment training event for the 24th MEU before their deployment at the end of the year.
