Senior Chief Petty Officer Dennis Taylor speaks about the qualities of Petty Officer 1st Class Bobby McRill to a Mass Communication Specialist graduating class at Defense Information School at Ft. George G. Meade. McRill was killed in combat in Iraq in 2007 and the McRill Award has been created in his honor to be presented to the Mass Communication Specialist who best displays the Navy's core values of honor, courage and commitment. Seaman Kathleen O'Keefe was the first to receive the award during a presentation at Defense Information School.
