Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), Adm. Jonathan Greenert presents a certificate of commendation to Cpl. Nicholas Curry maciel, a generator mechanic with Combat Logistics Battalion 11, 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), from La Center, Washington, during a visit to the dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45) Nov. 28. Comstock is part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and with the embarked 11th MEU, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
