A Soldier with the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team “Spartans,” 3rd Infantry Division, bench presses for his brigade team here Nov. 17. The bench press challenge was just one of the events for Marne Week, where all but the most essential work stops, and the subordinate units of the 3rd ID come together to compete in many different events. At the end of the four days, earned points are added up, and a winner is announced. Amazingly the 2nd ABCT won, even though they are severely under staffed due to their imminent inactivation.
