Lieutenant Colonel John C. Osborne takes command of 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion for the last time just before passing on the reigns to Lt. Col Gary A. McCullar during a change of command ceremony, Dec. 12, 2014. While under Osborne’s command for more than two years the battalion took part in two deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as well as maintaining an above average state of preparedness during the Commanding General’s Readiness Inspection.
