Army Staff Sgt. Camie Adams was the first female to finish the 10 mile run in one hour and 15 minutes. Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and civilians participated in the first 3.4 mile or a 10 mile "Running with the Bulls" flight line "fun run" on Joint Base Balad, Iraq, May 2. Each participant was awarded a long sleeve commemorative tee shirt for participating. A coin and plaque was awarded to the first male and female finishers of the 3.4 mile and 10 mile runs by Command Sgt. Maj. Gery Thesing of Task Force 34. Additionally, a coin was awarded to the second place male and female finishers of each race. Task Force 34 Soldiers sport the combat patch of the 34th Infantry Division.
