Volunteers pass out cards redeemable for t-shirts to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and civilians as they participate in the first 3.4 mile or a 10 mile "Running with the Bulls" flight line "fun run" on Joint Base Balad, Iraq, May 2. Each participant was awarded a long sleeve commemorative tee shirt for participating. A coin and plaque was awarded to the first male and female finishers of the 3.4 mile and 10 mile runs by Command Sgt. Maj. Gery Thesing of Task Force 34. Additionally, a coin was awarded to the second place male and female finishers of each race. Task Force 34 Soldiers sport the combat patch of the 34th Infantry Division.
