U.S. Soldier Maj. Dave King, Director of the State Partnership Program with Colombia, S.C. Army National Guard, is pictured standing in front of his M113 armored personnel carrier as a First. Lt. from combat operations from Operation Just Cause in Panama in 1989. King was a member of the 4-6th Infantry Battalion, 5th Infantry Division (Mechanized) and was part of the ground invasion which commenced Dec. 20, 1989. This year 2014 marks the 25th anniversary of Operation Just Cause.
