The pictures are from his deployment to Operation Just Cause in Panama in December of 1989 when he served as a sawgunner and paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the invasion of Panama, when President George H.W. Bush ordered combat operations to begin Dec. 20, 1989 to remove Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega.
