Sgt. Marcus Johnson, an instructor with the Semi Refueler Operator Course, gives hand signals to a student as they practice backing the MK31 medium tactical vehicle Dec. 17, 2014 aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina. The SROC is being held aboard the air station to train 24 Marines with various units within II Marine Expeditionary Force to become proficient semitrailer refueler operators, an advanced military occupational specialty after Marines earn the primary MOS of motor vehicle operator. During the course, students learn how to operate the MK31 and the M970 semitrailer refueler in a variety of situations. The tractor trailers are primarily used for fueling and defueling a variety of Marine Corps aircraft. Johnson and one other instructor came from the Motor Transport Instruction Company at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri, to teach the students. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Elizabeth A. Case/Released)
