Airman 1st Class Christian Gabriel and Philip Barios stand ready with a safety chock on the ground while a 60k Tunner loader extended to more than 18 moves forward to the cargo deck where Senior Airman Devin Mayhair marshalls the vehicle closer. These aerial porters are part of a ramp team of the 60th Aerial Port Squadron worked quickly to fill the 42 pallet positions in the contract air cargo jet from Evergreen's green and white 747 Freighter on April 18 at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. The cargo is destined for countries in the Pacific. The 11-person team including three drivers in 60k Tunner loaders who safely loaded 99,585 pounds of cargo in 90 minutes. The air crew was able to stay onboard the entire time and departed for its Pacific destinations: Hickam air Force Base, Hawaii; Andersen Air Force Base, Guam; Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea; and Yokota Air Base, Japan.
