Maj. Gen. Mark Brilakis embraces Dana Duckworth after recognizing her for her hard work and dedication to the University of Alabama's gymnastics team during a surprise visit to the University of Alabama Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015. Brilakis, the commanding general for Marine Corps Recruiting Command, acknowledged Duckworth's contributions to the team as their coach. One of Duckworth's gymnasts, Mary Sanders, was recently accepted into the Corps Platoon Leaders Class in the hoped of earning the title Marine Corps officer.
