Sgt. Robert Hardisty holds his son, Trenton, and watches the ceremony with his wife, Joelle. Hardisty is one of about 38 New Mexico National Guard soldiers with Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 171st Aviation Regiment, that are deploying to Kuwait with a stop in Fort Hood, Texas, for some additional training.
