One of two stained glass windows in the church in Sainte Mere Eglise, France, that is dedicated to the paratroopers of the 82nd Airborne Division who liberated the town, June 6, 1944 -- the first town in France to be liberated in World War II. The window depicts Saint Michael, the patron saint of paratroopers, and also bears images symbolizing the 82nd Airborne Division, the lion of Normandy, Sainte Mere Eglise and each of the combat jumps made by the 82nd during World War II.
