American, Iraqi Airmen Partner to Restore Sultan Saqi Shrine

Senior Master Sgt. Gary Lytle, 506th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron electrical systems superintendent, places a fluorescent light bulb into a fixture he repaired inside the Sultan Saqi Shrine in one on-base cemetery. The Palmer, Alaska, native deployed from Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska, provided temporary power to the shrine and repaired electrical outlets in its rooms prior to an official visit in May by Iraqi family members and local leaders.
