Robert Thomas fields a question from Hull Maintenance Technician 2nd Class Billy Lomax, a member of the engineering department aboard U.S. 7th Fleet Flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19). Thomas addressed Blue Ridge engineers to congratulate them for their efforts in successfully completing a "light off." Blue Ridge conducted a "light off" of its boilers, providing steam to power the steam plant, in order to resume patrols of the 7th Fleet area of operations.
