First Lt. Carolyn Nielsen has her runner's bib pinned to her shirt by Staff Sgt. Paul Roberts just prior to the Mercedes-Benz Marathon Feb. 22 in Birmingham, Ala. Both are Army Reserve Soldiers assigned to the 314th Press Camp Headquarters in Birmingham. The unit fielded 11 runners who participated in the full and half marathon as well as the relay.
