First Lt. Carolyn Nielsen, a public affairs officer with the 314th Press Camp Headquarters, U.S. Army Reserve, completes the final leg, eight miles, of the relay portion of the Mercedes-Benz Marathon on Feb. 22 in Birmingham, Ala. The 314th fielded 11 runners who participated in the full and half marathon as well as the relay. The five-member relay team completed the event with a time of 4:37:58.
