150317-N-NT265-813 EAST CHINA SEA (March 17, 2015) – Sailors, assigned to the forward-deployed Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48), recover a rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB) on the boat deck. Ashland is part of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, along with the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is currently conducting a certification exercise (CERTEX).
