First Lt. Reed Petfray of C Company, 502 Parachute Infantry Regiment signs his photographs for a ceremony attendee at the dedication ceremony in Amfreville, France, June 6. Petfray was a pathfinder and one of the first Soldiers to jump into Normandy on the night of June 5, 1944. Petfray's hometown is the city of Toccoa, Ga. Toccoa was the home of Camp Tocca, a World War II parachute training base and the home of Easy Company depicted in the HBO miniseries, Band of Brothers.
