Dragoons of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment, along with Soldiers the 615th Military Police Company and the 515th Transportation Company gather in front of a makeshift "Stryker" at the Warsaw Uprising Museum in Warsaw, Poland on March 26. The event was a cultural excursion for the Soldiers and Troopers participating in the 2nd CR's Dragoon Ride from Tapa, Estonia, to their home base Vilseck, Germany. The 615th is providing escort and the 515th is providing logistical support for 2nd CR on their 1,000-plus mile trip, the longest such movement conducted since World War II. The 2nd CR had been training with the Estonian Army for three months as a part of Operation Atlantic Resolve. Operation Atlantic Resolve is a demonstration of continued U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and to enduring peace and stability in the Baltic Region. Enhanced land force multi-national training and security cooperation activities take place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania to ensure multi-national interoperability and strengthen relationships among allied militaries.
