Inside the Hohenfels Training Area’s Camp Albersthof, Grant Knetchel, a Raytheon contractor, acts as the man behind the scenes, Monday, April 6, 2015, during the beginning of a rotation’s specialty training for participants of exercise Saber Junction 15 from a military classroom trailer that is outfitted with the latest A/V technology and handles up to 30 personnel. Specialty training is a set of courses that are offered to the rotational training units ranging from operational environment overviews to vehicle recovery procedures. U.S. Army Europe’s Saber Junction 15 takes place April 1-30, 2015 in Germany, Romania and Lithuania and prepares U.S., NATO allies, and European security partners to conduct unified land operations through the simultaneous combination of offensive, defensive and stability operations appropriate to the mission and the environment.
