U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Michael Hagerman waits for his parachute to be inspected by a French legionnaire at French Base in Djibouti. Hagerman, a pararescueman from the 82nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron, jumped with other Guardian Angels from the 82nd, from a French C-160 Transall, using French parachutes, twice the same day. The Guardian Angels from the 82nd trained with the legionnaires to promote interoperability between the two militaries.
