A French Foreign legionnaire inspects U.S. Air Force Capt. WIlliam Chase's parachute at a French Base in Djibouti. Chase, a Combat Rescue officer, from the 82nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron, along with with other Guardian Angels from the 82nd, jumped from a French C-160 Transall, using French parachutes, twice the same day. The Guardian Angels from the 82nd trained with the legionnaires to promote interoperability between the two militaries.
