OKINAWA, Japan (April 18, 2015) Steelworker Constructionman Elizabeth Auten, right, and Builder Constructionman Edward Torres run with their legs tied together while the team they are competing with is answering question related to sexual assault reporting procedures during Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5’s relay in support of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month and bystander intervention on Camp Shields, Okinawa. The NMCB 5 Sexual Assault Prevention and Response team held a relay to bring more awareness about sexual assault statistics, reporting procedures and preventing sexual through a team competition. NMCB 5 is currently deployed to Japan and several countries in the Pacific area of operations conducting construction operations and humanitarian assistance projects.
