USS DECATUR, At Sea - Decatur crewmembers, aboard a rigid-hull inflatable boat, come to assist the crew of a distressed vessel that drifted helplessly for several days without food or fresh water. Decatur brought the fishermen aboard the Arleigh Burke class guided missile destroyer and offered them food and restroom facilities. The ship eventually met up with another fishing boat that agreed to tow the impaired skiff back to shore. Official Navy photo by Cryptologic Technician Collection 3rd Class Ryan C. Finkle.
