Lance Cpl. Etienne Sakouhi, a combat engineer with 8th Engineer Support Battalion, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, sweeps and scans the ground ahead for notional improvised explosive devices during a field exercise aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., May 14, 2015. The Marines conducted route clearance patrols and demolition reconnaissance after completing a non-standard bridge. A non-standard bridge is typically constructed using wood, brick or concrete, and is utilized for foot traffic or vehicles such as Humvees. Once completed, this class of bridge can withstand the weight of one Humvee. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Justin T. Updegraff/Released)
