    USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76)   

    Petty Officer 3rd Class Christopher Campbell, a quartermaster, takes down the battle flag aboard the USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) after a fueling at sea with the Arleigh Burke-class Destroyer USS Gridley (DDG 101). Ronald Reagan conducts FAS, as a training exercise to help Sailors maintain proficiency in the evolution. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
