U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, fire the M240B medium machine gun at mock enemy targets June 26 during an air assault course at Bradshaw Field Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia. The AAC combined light infantry, indirect fire weapons systems and air assets to capture and fight through a mock enemy force. U.S. Marines comprise a competent expeditionary fighting force that is technically proficient, and culturally sensitive, and capable of responding to any crisis or contingency.
