The top patch, called a "Name Plate", is normally worn on Flight Suits, Flight Jackets and the back of individuals flight helmets, and always has a persons "Wings." A person can put up to two separate Qualification Badges on a plate but no more. The plate also includes a person's name on the top line and usually their rank, any special titles and branch of service on the second line. They come in black and brown leather or embroidered cloth, which are customizable to the owner's discretion. The second patch is called a "Jolly Roger" and is synonymous with U.S. Navy Special Operations and Special Warfare Operators.
