Bulgarian Land Forces of the 61st Mechanized Brigade from Karlovo provide security while others capture a high-value target, a role played by a U.S. Army Soldiers of the 2nd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, out of Vilseck, Germany, during bilateral training conducted here, Sept. 17. Bulgarian and American forces trained together as part of the Joint Task Force-East exercises. JTF-E is part of a continuing effort by the United States and its partners in the region to improve interoperability and develop relationships with partner militaries that lead to success in theater security operations.
