On Thursday, July 16, 2015 the Center for Strategic & International Studies hosted a multi-panel discussion on the value the U.S. Army Reserve brings to the nation. The half-day event opened with keynote speaker Congressman Joseph Heck, who currently serves as Chairman of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Military Personnel.
From right to left: The first panel focused on the Army Citizen-Soldier and was moderated by Mr. Bruce Hock, a former Senate Armed Services Committee Staff Member, who introduced the audience to Mr. Ronald Dziedzicki, major general for U.S. Army Reserve’s 3rd Medical Command (Deployment Support), and the Chief Operating Officer for University Hospitals Case Medical Center; Mr. Daniel Arkins, Chief of Staff for U.S. Army Reserve’s 108th Training Division, and Regional Director for MetLife Disability; and Mr. James Bridgers Jr., U.S. Army Reserve command sergeant major of the 151st Theater Information Group and a Deputy Health Officer for the Charles County Department of Health.
