On Thursday, July 16, 2015 the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) hosted a multi-panel discussion on America’s Army Reserve which provided insight into a wide range of perspectives - from Congress to currently serving Army Reserve members to Department of Defense officials who call upon the Army Reserve for a variety of federal missions at home and abroad. From right to left: President and CEO of CSIS, Mr. John J. Hanre, opened the multi-panel discussion and introduced keynote speaker, U.S. Congressman Joseph Heck, Chairman of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Military Personnel to communicate critical capabilities provided by the U.S. Army Reserve. Opening introductions made by Ms. Stephanie Kostro, a Senior Fellow with CSIS International Security Program.
