ARABIAN GULF (Aug. 11, 2015) Boatswain's Mate Seaman Teeyahna Mitchell signals to pilots of an SA-330 Puma helicopter, from the Military Sealift Command underway replenishment oiler USNS Patuxent (T-AOE 201), during a vertical replenishment on the flight deck aboard Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47). Rushmore is part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
