150819-N-GG858-069 ARABIAN GULF (August 19, 2015) Sailors assigned to the San Antonio-Class amphibious transport dock ship USS Anchorage (LPD 23) and Marines assigned to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) conduct color guard practice on the foc'sle. Anchorage, part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and with embarked 15th MEU, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
