ARABIAN GULF (Aug. 20, 2015) Lance Cpl. Jordan Taylor holds the phone and distance line aboard Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47) during a replenishment-at-sea with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Patuxent (T-AO 201). Rushmore is part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
