Canadian Army Reseve public affairs personnel leave the site of a company-level group attack launched by Washington Army National Guard soldiers from 1st Battalion, 161st Infantry Regiment, headquartered in Spokane, Wash., and their Canadian Army Reserve counterparts during Exercise Grizzly Defender. The exercise is a joint training mission with the Canadian Army Reserve at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright in Alberta, Canada, which ran from Aug. 15-23, 2015, with a focus on offensive tasks including patrols, convoys, raids, information operations, traffic control points, and company-level group attacks.
