A simulated suicide bomber explodes his vest in a small town after Washington Army National Guard soldiers from 1st Battalion, 161st Infantry Regiment, headquartered in Spokane, Wash., along with their Canadian counterparts, launch a company-level group attack Aug. 22 during Exercise Grizzly Defender.The exercise is a joint training mission with the Canadian Army Reserve at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright in Alberta, Canada, which ran from Aug. 15-23, 2015, with a focus on offensive tasks including patrols, convoys, raids, information operations, traffic control points, and company-level group attacks.
