Brig. Gen. Salim Ahmad bin Miandad, the commandant of the Malaysian Army Academy, fires an X-26 Taser during Non-Lethal Weapons Executive Seminar, Sept. 16, 2015. Senior military members were given an oppurtunity to fire weapons used by instructors during the exercise after the final demonstration. NOLES is an annual exercise hosted by U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific and is the U.S. Pacific Command's premier multilateral theater security cooperation event for non-lethal weapons. Non-lethal weapons and tactics provide options for U.S. Marines and partner nation militaries while operating in the full spectrum of warfare.
