U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Joseph Woodson, assigned to Outlaw Platoon, Alpha Battery, 2nd Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, pulls a backpack out of a crate to hand to children in Dexebtoth village north of Mosul, Iraq, on Oct. 25. The Soldiers handed out more than 1,000 backpacks full of school supplies as part of an education assistance drop.
