Joseph Woodson, from Manassas, Va., assigned to Outlaw Platoon, Alpha Battery, 2nd Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, talks with students at a school in Dexebtoth village north of Mosul, Iraq, on Oct. 25. Alpha Battery brought more than 1,000 backpacks full of school supplies for the students as part of an education assistance drop.
