German Soldiers assigned to Multinational Battle Group-West, fire the M16A2 rifle, from the prone position, Aug. 16, 2015, on Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. The German Soldiers took the opportunity to fire and qualify on the M16A2 and receive the U.S. Army marksmanship badge, an opportunity they may not have again. With instruction from the North Carolina National Guard, 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team, assigned to Multinational Battle Group-East, almost all German participants passed the firing qualification.
