He has helped that country to establish a Market Information Service which disseminates day-to-day market information directly to the farmer so that he may know where and when his produce is needed. The impact on the Brazilian farm economy and market efficiency has been important indeed. This giant squash has reached the market in Rio de Janeiro when there is a good demand and a high price.
